Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said that the Central Clinical Establishment Act would soon be implemented in the state through an ordinance and the hospitals with more than 50 beds would be covered under it.
Vij announced this after holding a meeting with office-bearers of Indian Medical Association (IMA), Haryana.
He said that for now, the hospitals with less than 50 beds have been given relaxation and would not be covered under it.
The suggestions given by the office-bearers of IMA would be considered positively. With the implementation of this ordinance, whatever system would be developed at the Centre, the same would be implemented in the state, said the Minister.
President of Haryana IMA, Dr AP Setia said that a way-out has been found, for the implementation of CCEA and we are thankful to government to redress our grievances.
Notably, the doctors of private hospitals in Haryana had on December 15 observed a day-long strike to protest the State Government’s decision to implement Central Clinical Establishment Act.
