Hailing the conviction and sentencing of Ravi Sidhu in a corruption case, the former Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh on Tuesday said that it will send a strong message to the corrupt who try to abuse the system with all impunity.
“Not only does it vindicate our stand and position against the corruption, it must have come as some sort of consolation to all those deserving candidates who could not get their rightful due just because they could not afford to pay huge bribe to Sidhu, who was the PPSC chairman at that time,” said the Congress Deputy leader in the lok Sabha.
