He maintained, “I urged Rahul to take corrective measures to maintain unity among the party leaders in Haryana as senior leaders are quitting the party one after other. The situation may hamper the party prospects in upcoming Assembly polls in the State.”
Yadav claimed Rahul Gandhi listened to him patiently and assured of taking some vital steps to end the factionalism among the party leaders. Yadav has been criticising Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda alleging ‘favoritism’ being made by him in Government jobs.
He had also tendered his resignation from the Cabinet over the issue and later withdrew it after meeting with the Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

The programme was attended by AICC General Secretary in-charge of the state Shakeel Ahmed and HPCC chief Ashok Tanwar.
