Putting the blame for slow industrial growth on the Congress, Haryana Industries Minister Capt Abhimanyu said that due to the wrong policies pursued by the previous Government, the State could not achieve as much industrial growth as it should have. “Soon after coming to power, the present Government brought out a White Paper on the economic condition of the State, which revealed shocking facts,” he said.
Working on the precept of ‘Sabka Sath-Sabka Vikas’, the State Government has implemented the new Enterprises Promotion Policy-2015, under which priority would be given to industrial development in those areas which were neglected by the previous Governments, he said replying to a question raised by MlA Aseem Goyal regarding the status of industrial development in the State during the last ten years, during the Question Hour. He said that the industrial growth rate kept declining continuously after 2006-07 and the incentive money ranging from `150 crore to `175 crore to be given for encouraging entrepreneurs is still pending.
