State Transport Minister G.S. Bali on Monday said that bus services of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) had been restored between Reckong Peo and Shimla whereas efforts were being made to restore the bus services on other roads of the district, which had been damaged due to heavy rains and landslides.
Bali said that Public Works Department (PWD) and other agencies were working on war footing to clear the roads. He said that Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) had started the bus operations on those roads which had been cleared and bus service from Rekong Peo to Shimla were restored.
He said efforts were on for smooth operation of bus services by opening the blocked roads. The Minister applauded the efforts of Public Works Department and Transport Corporation for reopening the blocked roads and restoring the bus services in a very short period of time.
