Reacting to the Union Budget, Haryana Finance Minister, Capt Abhimanyu said it is pro-farmer, poor and labourers and would prove to be a milestone in further strengthening the agriculture economy.
"This Budget would pave way for making India as a strong economic power in the world," he said in a statement.
The Haryana Finance Minister said it would not be wrong if we described the Budget as agriculture based Budget. He listed MSP of crops with 50 per cent profit over and above the cost of production, promise of making provision of Rs 11 lakh crore for agriculture loan, encouraging the agriculture producer organisations and extending the scope of kisan credit card to the landless farmers associated with the animal husbandry business as major steps.
“The Budget has also given mention to give benefit of medical insurance scheme of upto Rs 5 lakh to 50 crore people. The scheme would be a unique scheme of its kind in the world,” he added.
