BSNl has started a convenient service based on modern technology to enable its mobile customers to pay their bills. Punjab BSNl mobile customers will be able to pay their bills at their nearest BSNl franchisee and retailers. Punjab BSNl has a network of more than 30,000 retailers and franchisee across the rural and urban areas of the State. The new billing service is expected to save the mobile customers from waiting in a queue at the billing centre without paying any additional charge.
Punjab circle chief general manager, GS Julka said that apart from the existing departmental counter and billing centre, mobile customers will be able to pay their bills at their convenience at their nearest franchisee or retailer.
BSNl has attractive and inexpensive post paid plans but interest in its post paid plans has been less due to inconvenience faced in billing. "With the introduction of the new service, people will opt for such post paid plans and the number of such customers will also rise," hoped Julka. Customers can see the post paid plans at the website www.punjab.bsnl.co.in.
