BJP lok Sabha candidate from Gurdaspur Vinod Khanna on Tuesday said bringing industries for the development of the border area and ending unemployment would be his main goal after winning the polls.
“Bringing in industries and getting necessary permission from the Central Government under Modi ji’s guidance will be my prime goal. This will help reduce unemployment,” he said on his campaign trail. The actor turned politician said, “During my tenure, I have worked on transportation and infrastructure, hotel management college, hospitals and much more, and I promise to develop this constituency so that no one needs to go out for jobs.” During his campaign trail, Khanna gave a patient hearing to the problems which the people narrated and assured to resolved them. He said that people were tired with Congress’ misgovernance and wanted a change in the Government. Khanna has been campaigning for almost 12 hours everyday. He campaigned in the Ghuman Kalan, Bangowli, Dula Nangal, Kotli Surat Malhi, Dhianpur, Shahpur Jajan, Hardorwal, Dharamkot Randhawa, and Dera Baba Nanak areas on Tuesday.
