Hundreds of semi nude BJP workers, headed by Ambala Cantt MlA Anil Vij on Sunday protested against Haryana government in all prominent markets and roads at Ambala Cantt.
At Sadar Chowk, Anil Vij said that the country is passing through a grim situation, which is like an undeclared emergency. He said, “Congress has crossed all limits to damage the leaders of political parties in opposition to remain in power.” The senior leader said, “Congress has not even spared the security forces in the country by imposing false allegations on retired General VK Singh to harm his image. Also, by suspending MlAs in opposition in recent Vidhan Sabha session, Congress has insulted democracy.”
He further said that time has come when residents should be prepared to teach lesson to Congress leaders. Putting blame on the district bureaucracy functioning on the directions of Congress leaders, he added that the residents of Ambala Cantt are deprived of basic amenities due to vested interests of a handful of Congress leaders. Ambala MP and Union Minister Kumari Selja has also taken a serious view of this and has also written a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi demanding relief for the people of her lok Sabha constituency.
