BJP will ensure 50 per cent profit for farmers: Rajnath

Playing the farmer’s card in the State known for its high produce in agriculture, Union Minister for Home, Rajnath Singh, said the BJP would ensure 50 per cent profit of their crop’s cost for the farmers if it formed the Government in the State.

Singh was addressing a poll meeting organised by BJP Kisan Morcha chief and the party nominee from Badli, Om Prakash Dhankar, at Paatauda village in Jhajjar late Monday evening. He said the Hooda led state government had worked for devastation of the farmers by snatching their fertile and costly land in the name of development.

“The state government did nothing except pleasing the corporate houses by handing them over the fertile land of poor farmers who have now known the real face of the Congress and are eagerly waiting for assembly election to root it out from power,” he added.

Terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi as ‘well-wisher’ of the farmers in a real sense, Singh said the union government had chalked out development policies to bail the farmers out from the crisis.

Exhorting the people to vote for Dhankar, the minister said he (Dhankar) would be assigned any big responsibility if he succeeded to romp home in the assembly polls.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhankar said all guest teachers and other contractual and adhoc employees would be regularised if the BJP formed government in the state. “We will also ensure a honorarium of Rs nine thousand per month to those poor students who want to earn money while studying. Such students will be provided official work for four hours in a day,” he said.

Dhankar called upon the people to root the congress out from the power to protect the state from devastation as the Hooda government left no stone unturned to promote corruption and criminal activities in the state.
