'BJP should declare its Chief Ministerial candidate'

Published on:

Making a scathing attack on BJP, Rohtak MP Deepender Singh Hooda on Thursday challenged it to name its Chief Ministerial candidate for the Assembly elections in Haryana. He said the Congress in Haryana has already declared that the election will be fought under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. In the same way, Indian National lok Dal (INlD) too has almost given indications that their Chief Ministerial candidate will be Abhay Singh Chautala. Similarly, the BSP too has declared Dr Arvind Sharma as its Chief Ministerial candidate in the present election. The Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) and the Jan Chetna Party (JCP) has declared Kuldip Bishnoi as its Chief Ministerial candidate.  Deepender said after the massive defeat of the BJP in Assembly bypoll  of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttarakhand and Bihar along with Karnataka, the party will have to tell the people of the State who their Chief Ministerial candidate will be in the Assembly elections.  He said the people had rejected the BJP slogan of  ‘Congress free Government’ overwhelmingly and the popularity graph has gone downwards like never before in the history of the country.
