Chandigarh BJP on Tuesday strongly protested against the killing of five Indian soldiers by Pakistani Army in Indian territory. The youth wing of BJP gathered at Sector 17 Plaza and burnt the flag of Pakistan. They also raised slogans against Pakistan. They demanded that the Centre should take stern action against this act and Pakistan should be replied back in the same coin.

Chandigarh BJYM (Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha) president Amit Rana condemned the Congress-led Central government for inaction on the issue so far and demanded that strict action should be taken against this act. He said "such cruel acts of Pakistan have also been witnessed in the past. But, the Centre is yet to act against such acts. It is shameful that the Central Government has failed to take stern action against such cruelty with Indian soldiers."
