Former Railway Minister and local MP Pawan Kumar Bansal on Sunday alleged that BJP has been misusing the social media to a great extent While speaking at law Bhawan Sector 37 where the Congress had organised a seminar on importance of social media, Bansal said the BJP leaders were using the social media in coming up with a lie and its workers are making efforts to make it look like truth.
The MP said the BJP was misusing the social media which can be productively used. He added the Congress believed in telling the people what it had done for them and not in winning their confidence using false propaganda as the BJP was doing.
Bansal said that Congress had in August launched a national social media seminar to convey its ideology to the youth across the country and to ensure better communication with various State units. “Today, social media is an important medium to convey, to communicate, especially with the younger generation,” said Bansal. He said there had been a lot of technological advancements and now people were using emails instead of the letters which were sent by post.
