BJP leader says Cong laughed at for calling probe 'political vendetta'

Published on:

Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister, Shanta Kumar, on Saturday said some Congress leaders were describing the judicial inquiry into the shabby land deals of Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Sonia Gandhi as a political vendetta and becoming laughing stock by defending the alleged illegal land deals multiplying a few lakhs rupees into cores of rupees under the obvious patronage of AICC president in a short span of a few years. He said some sycophants speaking of political vendetta were becoming laughing stock. “Why are you getting panicked if you are honest IJ”, he asked. let the truth come to light by the judicial probe.   He advised the Congress leaders to atone for the scams and sins committed against the country and  seek apology from the poor who had been taken for a ride for seven decades by beguiling them by empty and false slogans like

“Congress lao Garibi hatao”. But the poor became poorer and the rich became richer, as the years rolled by, he added. Kumar alleged that all the complex problems which the country was facing today were the creation of one man who took power in 1947. The country was paying through nose for his political blunders and ambitions. The BJP leader said Congress rule had done irreparable damage to the country and the future generations would pay for the sins of long Congress rule. He said after having gone out of power the Congress leaders were fluttering like a fish out of water. Now people had become wiser and would no more be exploited by the false promises of Congress leaders, he said.
