The Chandigarh BJP on Thursday lashed out at local MP Pawan Kumar Bansal and asked him to address the issues of the residents of Chandigarh.
The BJP said that Pawan Kumar Bansal has been the MP for the last over nine years yet the constituency has failed to progress and he was unsuccessful in bringing a logical solution to the problems of the residents. “BJP Chandigarh and its state president Sanjay Tandon have left no stone unturned in addressing the problems of Chandigarh’s residents. He had also met with the chairman of the Standing Committee of Home Affairs Venkaiah Naidu and the Home Secretary and put forward the issues of the city,” said party leaders in a statement here.
Meanwhile, in a bid to woo youth voters ahead of general elections 2014, the BJP councillors opened a gym in Sector 30 on Thursday. On this occasion councillor Satinder Singh said that this gym should be put to good use by the local youth and in order to progress and develop as a nation, it is important that the youth should stay fit and healthy.
