The senior leaders of BJP Haryana and its ally Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC) here on Friday announced their “separate” strategies for the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections in seven districts of the State.
Ram Bilas Sharma, State president of BJP announced that their party will contest elections of MC on all seats under BJP’s banner, however, Kuldeep Bishnoi, HJC supremo made it clear that their party will not take part in MC elections. At the same time, he reiterated that party will not consider indiscipline. And, if any member of their party wants to contest elections, he/she can do that at his/her own capacity at any seat, he said.
Kuldeep also added that he and any of his party worker will not go for canvassing for any seat in the upcoming MC elections.
When asked whether parties’ alliance is on breaking point, Bishnoi and Sharma refuted the allegations and said that their parties have their own point of view and ideology for the political fields.
“We have the same pact and understanding at elections for MlAs and MPs seats, however, at local bodies’ level, we stick to our party’s own stands”, added Bishnoi.
