Gearing up for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday constituted 23 sub committees under its election manifesto committee (Sankalp Patra committee) to have direct dialogue with various sections of society before finalizing its manifesto.

The sub committees were constituted during the first meeting of its manifesto committee headed by Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister OP Dhankar on Sunday in Gurugram.

The committee has decided to name the party’s manifesto as “Mere Sapno Ka Haryana”. The manifesto will be party’s oath and promise towards the people of Haryana for the years between 2019 to 2024, said an official spokesman of Haryana BJP.

The spokesman said that 23 sub committees have been constituted. Among those who have been given the charge of these committees include the Union Ministers, state Ministers, MLAs, MPs and senior party leaders, he said.

After winning all 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana, the ruling BJP has set an ambitious target of winning 75 seats out of total 90 in the State Assembly polls, due to be held in October this year.

Setting eyes on its “Mission 75”, the BJP had recently decided to hold a “Rath Yatra” in the state to highlight the achievements of BJP led Central and State Government.

The party has also decided to hold a state level sammelan to strengthen the organizational structure in Haryana and boost the morale of panna pramukhs appointed in the state. It is proposed that the state level function for panna pramukhs will be addressed either by Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Currently, the BJP has 48 MLAs in the 90-member State Assembly.
