BJP demands apology from Haryana Speaker

Published on:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday hit back at Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Sharma for his remarks against BJP Prime Ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi.

The party asked Sharma to either tender an unqualified apology or resign from his post for making derogatory remarks against Modi. Satya Pal Jain, former city MP and national chairman of BJP’s Committee on legal Affairs & Election Commission Issues asked Sharma to save at least the honour and dignity of the high constitutional office that he is holding at present.

On Thursday, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker had stated that Narendra Modi suffers from oral diarrhoea as he speaks like delivering the dialogues at Ramleela.

Jain said that if not his own, Sharma should think of the honour and dignity of the office that he is holding today. Jain said that Modi is not only the future Prime Minister of India but is also a 3 times elected Chief Minister of Gujarat, which is a constitutional post and he is the most popular leader of India today.
