'BJP continuing with proxy war'

Himachal Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh on Saturday called on Congress President Sonia Gandhi and apprised her about developments in the State after he took over as the Chief Minister in December last year.

Singh apprised her about the implementation of Congress Election Manifesto and told her that the State Government had adopted the Election Manifesto of Congress party as official document and all the promises made in the manifesto were being implemented.

He informed her that the State Government had adopted zero tolerance against corruption in all spheres of governance. The Chief Minister also apprised her about various developmental projects and schemes launched in the State for overall development, besides difficulties being faced by the State on various spheres.

later Singh also campaigned in favour of Congress candidates for the Delhi Assembly polls. Addressing election rallies in favour of Congress candidates, Singh took a swipe at BJP and termed the tactics of BJP leaders as a step towards misguiding the people with false promises of providing basic facilities like cheap power, water etc.

He said that BJP had failed on all fronts and there was a proxy war going on within their top party leadership and it is amazing that they were luring people with false propaganda of providing separate Statehood status for Delhi.
