The Chandigarh BJP on Tuesday continued their signature campaign demanding Bansal’s resignation from the Ministry.

The party workers lead by party chief Sanjay Tandon held the campaign at Sector 26 Grain Market. The party would continue the signature campaign till Bansal resigns.

The party chief Tandon said, “Either Pawan Kumar Bansal should resign himself or Prime Minister Manmohan Singh should remove him from the Ministry. The campaign would continue in the city till Bansal resigns.”

During the signature campaign, the party leader Satya Pal Jain said, “Bansal is silent from last five days on the Railway Board bribery scam.

“He should come forward and clear his stand publicly. It is unfortunate that instead of Bansal, his relatives are giving clarifications on his behalf.”

Adding to this, party senior leader Harmohan Dhawan said, “The BJP would continue the signature campaign until Bansal resigns from Railway Ministry. And, it is really shameless the way Congress is defending him,” he added.
