Transferring six IAS and one PCS officers with immediate effect, the Punjab Government has appointed Baldeo Purushartha as the mining director. He would be holding the additional charge of mining director besides the current charge of Technical Education and Industrial Training director, said the Government official spokesperson.
Gurdev Singh Ghuman has been posted as Joint Development Commissioner of Integrated Rural Development in addition to Rural Development and Panchayats special secretary, while Alaknanda Dayal has been posted as Social Security and Development of Women and Children director in addition to Social Security and Development of Women and Children special secretary. Gurkirat Kirpal Singh has been posted as Markfed managing director and his services placed at the disposal of the Department of Co-operation. Another IAS officer Dilraj Singh has been posted as Registrar Co-operative Societies and his services has placed at the disposal of the department of co-operation for posting as Milkfed managing director. PCS officer Major Amit, currently posted as Pathankot sub-divisional magistrate, would also hold the additional charge of Pathankot joint commissioner.
