Punjab Congress president Partap Singh Bajwa on Saturday came down on the Punjab Government for taking stringent action against the Government employees saying the Parkash Singh Badal Government had no right to curb the democratic rights of the people to protest peacefully.

He pleaded for the agitating workers, employees and advocated their right to protest peacefully. He was campaigning for Harminder Singh Jassi in Natt, lelewala, Sekhpura, Bhagwanpura, Nawa Pind, Jajjal, Teona Pujarian, Sangat Khurad and  Rama Mandi.
