Haryana Tourism is all set to organise colourful Baisakhi Mela at Pinjore Gardens on April 12 and 13.
The festival is celebrated with enthusiasm and gusto on a grand scale at the majestic Pinjore Gardens every year, said a spokesman of Haryana Tourism.
He said that visitors to the fair would be able to enjoy folk cultural evening programmes on both days of the Mela. Other attractions would include a Food Court and Crafts Bazaar. The visitors could enjoy delicious food at the multi-cuisine Food Court, shop from a variety of handlooms and handicrafts at the Crafts Bazaar and enjoy the tunes of the performers, he added.
The spokesman said that competitions would be organised for school students during the Mela. These would include a rangoli competition for students from 10 am onwards on April 12, followed by a mehendi competition at 11 am. On April 13, a drawing competition would be held at 10 am and face painting competition at 11 am.
