The stars and planets seem to be in favour of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chandigarh candidate Kirron Kher who made her electoral debut in the lok Sabha polls.
Chandigarh-based astrologers’ are betting for BJP’s victory in the city and predict that Kher will put an end to Congress’ 15 years rule in the city.
The Union Territory had recorded highest ever polling percentage of 73.8 per cent in the lok Sabha polls held on April 10 here.
With former Union Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal in the poll fray to retain his lok Sabha seat, BJP’s Kirron Kher banking on “Modi wave” and AAP’s candidate Gul Panag hoping to cash in on “Kejriwal factor”, the Chandigarh poll scene witnessed a high-decibel three cornered ballot fight this time.
As the polling results are to be announced on May 16, The Pioneer talked to the city based astrologers about their predictions for lok Sabha polls 2014.
A city based astrologer Madan Gupta Spatu predicts, “Kirron Kher will take a lead in Chandigarh’s poll result followed by Congress’ Bansal and AAP’s Panag. The stars are in favour of Kher and she will be the winning candidate.”
Predicting the same, another city based astrologer Ashok Sharma says, “Modi wave at the Centre will help the actor turned politician Kher sail through...The 61-years-old inexperienced politician stands a strong chance to win from city’s parliamentary seat.”
“Bansal is likely to give a tough fight to Kher while AAP will stand nowhere in the ballot tussle,” adds he.
However, the astrologer Parkash Chander foresees a victory for four-time MP Bansal in the city. Chander says that the UPA will not make a comeback at the Centre but stars are in favour of Bansal. Bansal has more chances to win than BJP’s Kirron Kher while Gul Panag will remain behind the race.
According to Ganeshaspeaks.com, Kher will be able to break votes in some sections — thus somewhat undermining the chances of her opponents to some extent. The transit of Venus is still satisfactory, but other planetary transits are not strong enough to lead her to victory through this battle.

Chandigarh are likely to sprung up some surprises on the day of counting.
Predicting the trends in neighbouring States of Punjab and Haryana, the astrologer Spatu says, “Unprecedented results would be witnessed in both the States. The political parties are in neck-to-neck fight in Punjab and Haryana this time.”
Chander predicts, “Congress will get majority seats in Punjab while BJP will win majority seats in Haryana.”
Surprisingly, in sync with the results of exit polls, the city based astrologers are betting on Narendra Modi. The astrologers predict the victory of Modi-led NDA at the Centre.
Even as things are going in favour of BJP as per the astrological analysis, it remains to be seen whether the perceived “Modi wave” will blow the Congress or the Congress will make a comeback despite a strong anti-incumbency factor this time.
