Haryana assembly on Monday paid tributes to several State leaders, freedom fighters and martyrs who lost their lives during the period between its last session and the current Budget session. Chief Minister Manohar lal, who is also the leader of the House, paid tributes to former CM Hukam Singh, former Governor of Tripura Chaudhary Sultan Singh, former state Minister Parsanni Devi, former Member of Joint Punjab legislative Assembly Manphool Singh, freedom fighters, martyrs of Haryana, victims of train mishap and close relatives of members of Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
Speaker Haryana Vidhan Sabha Kanwar Pal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ram Bilas Sharma also read out the obituary resolutions and paid tribute to the departed souls. Jaswinder Singh Sandhu of INlD, Kiran Chaudhary of Congress and Kuldeep Bishnoi of HJC also read obituary resolutions on behalf of their parties. The House also paid homage to 12 soldiers of Haryana who have made supreme sacrifices while safeguarding and protecting the unity and integrity of the motherland.
