Amid escalating infighting in Haryana Congress unit, State party chief Ashok Tanwar on Wednesday met party vice president Rahul Gandhi.
Though there is no official word on what transpired in the meeting between the two leaders in New Delhi, it is learnt that Tanwar has submitted a complaint against party MlA Jai Tirath Dahiya and also raised the issue of controversial statements being issued by Hooda loyalists.
Following the recent meeting between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda at New Delhi, MlA Jai Tirath Dahiya, who belongs to the faction led by Hooda, had threatened to go to any extent if their demand for removal of Tanwar is not met soon. The faction led by Hooda has been demanded ouster of Tanwar.
