With lok Sabha elections 2014 only a few months away, anti-Hooda camp including Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Kumari Selja and Rajya Sabha MP Birender Singh on Sunday, formally started campaigning for Ambala parliamentary constituency and also launched an attack on Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.

At the function organised in Panchkula on Sunday, both Congress leaders announced beginning of their political campaign. Surprisingly, neither Congress MlA DK Bansal from Panchkula nor any other Congressmen including State Congress president Phool Chand Mullana were present on this occasion.

While referring to the former Prime Minister late Narsimha Rao, Birender Singh, in a cautious attack on Hooda said, “I am afraid of those persons who speak less, Narsimha Rao used to speak less but his motive was to weaken the Nehru parivar and the Congress. Similarly, Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda also speaks less, now you can imagine the outcome.”

Singh said, “Now, the elections are inching closer and all the Congressmen whether they are Chief Minister, MlA or MPs, they would have to concentrate on those things which have been left out rather than sticking on the developmental songs merely.

Birender Singh declared that we cover all the parliamentary constituencies across the State at our own level. When asked whether they will give the tickets to their candidates, he said, “We will give the tickets, if required we will snatch it”.

Without naming Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Singh alleged that now, these people are teaching the politics to those who have spent their whole life in politics. He said, Delhi Government is merely six days old and I have spent 43 years, let them spent merely 43 days in the politics, we will see how they work.

launching a scathing attack on the BJP, Union Minister Kumari Selja said the whole party had to bend over the desire of one person to declare him as prime ministerial candidate of the party. She said Congress, on the other is party of people and wants to bring judicial accountability bill to provide last delivery service to everyone.
