Haryana State Vigilance Bureau on Thursday launched a new anti-corruption helpline on social media including WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter where people can send complaints about Government officials who ask for bribe or harass them. Now, complaints regarding corruption could be sent on WhatsApp number 9417891064 and Rohtak Vigilance Bureau numbers 9050028244 or 9050008241.
A spokesperson of the Bureau said that the anti-corruption helpline on the social media is in addition to existing helpline numbers 1064 and 18001802022. He said that the complaints could also be forwarded on the bureau’s Facebook page and Twitter account. The launch of anti-corruption helpline on social media is to ensure easy accessibility to the people.
