Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Monday slammed Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh over his statement regarding farmers in Hoshiarpur and said that it clearly proves that the farmers are instigated by Punjab CM.
Vij tweeted, “Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh ji telling farmers to do whatever they want in Haryana or Delhi and don't do it in Punjab is a very irresponsible statement. This proves that Amarinder Singh has done the work of instigating the farmers (sic).”
Notably, Capt Amarinder during a function in Hoshiarpur on Monday said that farmers should not agitate in Punjab. They can do whatever they want by going to Haryana and Delhi, but do not spoil the atmosphere of Punjab. He had also said that farmers are sitting on dharna at 113 places in Punjab, which is causing financial loss to Punjab.
