The outspoken Haryana Minister, Anil Vij on Thursday saluted Sartaj, father of lucknow terror suspect, Saifullah, for refusing to accept the body of his son, saying that he was a traitor.
As long as fathers like Sartaj are present in the country, Islamic State will not be able to establish a stronghold in India and will not succeed in its evil designs, Vij said while talking to the mediapersons in the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
Replying to a question regarding disgruntled legislators in the BJP, Sports and Health Minister Vij said, "The BJP is a family and disagreements do happen in families which are later resolved."
“The BJP is a cultured party and BJP legislators do not get upset like their Congress counterparts. While the Congress legislators did not attend meetings and programmes of the party, BJP legislators are participating in all activities,” he added.
While commenting on the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, Vij said that the Congress, not the RSS, murdered Mahatma Gandhi. The Congress had divided the nation out of greed for power, because Mahatma Gandhi had stated that the country could be divided only over his body. About 10 lakh people were killed during the Partition, and it gave rise to hatred, which led to the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. The Congress is responsible for his murder, Vij added. The Sports Minister also informed that like the previous year, the State Government would organize Bharat Kesri Dangal-2017 from March 21-23 at Ambala this year.
