Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij found many irregularities at the NHM (National Health Mission, Haryana) office in Sector-2, Panchkula during a surprise visit on Thursday. During the inspection, many work related files were found pending for a long time and employees were found absent from the seat. The Minister asked the senior officials to submit a report within one week regarding the employees working in the Department and about the irregularities found during the inspection. Anil Vij said that many irregularities were found as no records pertaining to employees attendance and leave has been kept. The previous Congress Government had spent more than Rs5,000 crore in the health sector but no positive outcomes have been observed in the health facilities of the State. “State Vigilance Bureau will be asked to conduct an inquiry as many scams have taken place in the Health Department during the last 10 years regime of previous Congress Government in the State”, he added.
