Amritsar lok Sabha By-poll would be held on February 4, along with the Assembly polls in the State.
An official spokesperson of the ECI said that the date of issuance of gazette notification would be January 11, last date of nomination would be January 18, date of scrutiny of nomination would be January 19, while last date of withdrawal of candidature would be on January 21.
Counting would be done on March 11. The seat was vacated by Punjab Congress President Capt Amarinder Singh, who had defeated Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the 20014 lok Sabha elections.
