Jaitley’s hands stained with blood: Paramjit

Amritsar: Asserting that SAD-BJP candidate Arun Jaitley’s hands were equally stained with blood of 1984 anti-Sikh riot victims, former Delhi Gurdwara managing committee chief and president Akali Dal (Sarna) Paramjit Singh Sarna on Tuesday said that Capt Amarinder Singh needed no certificate from people like Parkash Singh Badal and Arun Jaitley, whose hands were stained with betrayal and blood of the innocent Sikhs.

Sarna added that when Jaitley was the Union law Minister, he facilitated the BJP move to bail out RSS and BJP workers against whom 46 FIRs were registered for anti-Sikh riots.

Cong been selling dreams: Chamar Mahan Sabha Chandigarh: The Chamar Mahan Sabha on Tuesday came down heavily on the Congress party for “fooling” the poor, the tribals, the backward and the Scheduled Castes and minorities since past 67 years for their votebanks.

“Congress party never allowed SC community to develop a strong leadership. Instead of giving recognition to the majority Ravidasya community in connection with the allotment of lok Sabha tickets, the Congress has selected a minority SC community leader, Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, from Fatehgarh Sahib,” said Sabha president Paramjit Singh Kainth.

He said, “Dharamsot has been member of Vidhan Sabha for the last three terms on a Congress ticket, but has never taken up the cause of SC issues. Instead he has been vocal for the upper castes.”“Congress has ignored leading Ravidasya community members like Shamsher Singh Dullon, Amar Singh and others… On the other hand, Akali Dal has given Fatehgarh Sahib ticket to a Ravidasya, Kulwant Singh,” said Kainth, adding that Chamar Mahan Sabha was contemplating to give support to Kulwant Singh.
