Ahead of the Cabinet formation in the state, Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, President HPCC Pratibha Singh and all newly elected MLAs of Congress called on Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge at New Delhi on Thursday. AICC General Secretary and In-charge Himachal Pradesh Rajiv Shukla was also present on the occasion.
Kharge congratulated the Chief Minister and Congress MLAs for winning their Assembly seats and bringing the party back to power in the state and also lauded the hard work of Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Mukesh Agnihotri and Pratibha Singh.
Sukhu assured that the new government will make all efforts to deliver the best service to the people by fulfilling the promises made.
Later, the Chief Minister also called on General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and MP K.C. Venugopal.
