Administrative Tribunal in Haryana soon

Published on:

Haryana will soon have its State Administrative Tribunal. The proposal sent by the State Government in this regard has been approved by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions.

The decision to set up State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) was taken by the State Cabinet to provide quick redressal of employees’ grievances regarding service matters, said a spokesperson of Haryana Government

He said that it was considered advantageous and essential that setting up of SAT would reduce the number of court cases, particularly service matters of employees.

He said that the Tribunal would have a chairman and two members. The chairman of the proposed Administrative Tribunal would be nominated by the Chief Justice of the High Court and approved by the State Government.
