Abhay Chautala threatens to file FIR against Ajay, Dushyant supporters

A day after supporters of Ajay Chautala and his son Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala removed the INLD flag and posters from party’s Rohtak office, Leader of opposition in Haryana Assembly and party’s senior leader Abhay Chautala on Wednesday threatened to get an FIR registered against such people.

“We will get an FIR registered against those indulging in such activities,” said Abhay while talking to the mediapersons in Hisar.

Several INLD workers had on Tuesday resigned from the party in support of OP Chautala’s elder son Ajay Chautala and Dushyant. They had also removed the party flag and photograph of Leader of Opposition Abhay Chautala from Rohtak’s office. The nameplate of the party’s district president was also removed.

Reacting to this, Abhay said that it is party’s office and not someone’s property. We will file a complaint against people who did this.

On a question related to weakening of INLD following expulsion of his elder brother Ajay and his sons, Abhay said that the INLD will contest municipal elections on its symbol and the results will prove that the party is in a strong position.

He added the INLD has also geared up for Jind by election, the seat which fell vacant after the demise of party’s MLA Hari Chand Middha in August.

Notably, Ajay Chautala, who was expelled from the party alongwith his sons Dushyant and Digvijay, has announced to float a separate political outfit and contest both 2019 Lok Sabha and assembly polls in Haryana.
