Former BJP MP and now Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Kangra parliamentary seat Rajan Shushant on Wednesday threatened his former mentor BJP veteran Shanta Kumar with expose on his life event saying that he would expose the double face of the BJP leader.
Sushant who had recently resigned from his membership from Parliament and BJP had joined AAP after being denied ticket by party for his anti-party activities accused Shanta Kumar for befooling people throughout his life. He alleged that Shanta Kumar had not gone to jail for his involvement in JP movement, but he had gone to jail because he was then the member of opposition party. "I would expose and tell you what Shanta Kumar did during his 19 months in jail," he added.
Shushant was addressing his new party workers at Dharamshala. He also denied that he once shared a relation of teacher and student with Shanta Kumar. Sushant also criticised the recent BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi rally at Sujanpur and alleged that people had not come to attend rally willingly but were forcefully brought to the venue.
"The leaders of both Congress and BJP were neck deep in corruption and had joined politics only for minting money by wrong means," said he adding that Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh himself seems to be hand in glove with former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal as till date he has failed in finding anything wrong against Anurag Thakur despite hundreds of irregularities were committed during BJP rule.
Sushant claimed that he has enough evidences against all the corrupt leaders of BJP and Congress in Himachal Pradesh and will made them public during his election campaign from Kangra seat. He said that AAP would soon announce the candidates for the remaining three lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh.He claimed that AAP has already distributed 43,000 membership forms to the people and had set a target to make more than 50, 000 members in Kangra and Chamba in the first phase.
