Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Thursday declared to mobilize the people by holding motorcycle rallies across Punjab for the proposed ‘Kisan Tractor Parade’ to be organised by the farmers on January 26.

“The party would hold motorcycle rallies across Punjab on January 23. The people would be mobilized to join the 'Kisan Tractor Parade',” said party's State unit president Bhagwant Mann and party’s Kisan Wing president and MLA Kultar Singh Sandhwan.

They said that for the first time after the independence of the country, there would be such a procession where on one hand, the youth would parade, and on the other hand, the farmers of the country would parade their tractors on the Delhi roads.

“All the MLAs and office bearers of AAP would take part in the ‘Farmers Tractor Parade’ on January 26. AAP would not ,” they said.

Underlining that the Constitution gives the right to protest peacefully, and to say, AAP leaders said that the Modi-led Central Government was somehow trying to take away that right. “It is the basic duty of every patriot of India to join the ‘Farmers Tractor Parade’ to save the Constitution,” they said.
