AAP's doors open for alliance: Naveen Jaihind

With the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) failing to reach an agreement on seat-sharing pact for the ensuing parliamentary polls, both parties are now likely to go it alone in Haryana in the polls.

Naveen Jaihind, Haryana AAP chief on Wednesday said that the party is likely to contest on its own in Haryana in the upcoming polls while maintaining that doors are still open for talks of a possible alliance with the JJP.

“The party has begun its process for selecting candidates for the 10 Lok Sabha seats in Haryana,” said Jaihind while talking to the mediapersons here.

If Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP and Hisar MP Dushyant Chautala’s JJP would go it alone in the Lok Sabha polls, the state will witness a multi-cornered electoral fight in Lok Sabha polls.

The other parties in the fray are ruling BJP, Congress, Indian National Lok Dal, Shiromani Akali Dal and Bahujan Samaj Party- Loktantra Suraksha Party combine.

Two days back, Hisar MP and JJP leader Dushyant Chautala had also indicted that his party will go it alone in the Lok Sabha polls.
