After suffering a humiliating defeat in the Lok Sabha polls, the Aam Aadmi Party led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ruled out an alliance with the Jannayak Janta Party in the upcoming Haryana Assembly polls.

AAP senior leader and party’s Haryana in-charge, Gopal Rai on Wednesday announced that after the Lok Sabha elections, the party has analyzed the political situation and decided to contest the upcoming elections without forming any alliance across the country.

His statement comes at a time when its alliance partner –JJP— in Haryana is gearing up for the State Assembly polls due to be held in October.

On contesting Haryana Assembly elections in an alliance with the JJP, Gopal Rai said, “We had formed an alliance with the JJP for Lok Sabha polls and now, the state party unit has been asked to prepare a report on the political scenario in Haryana.”
