After forming the Government in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party leaders in Haryana are on a swing.
The party leadership of AAP has given its nod to its Haryana unit in charge to speedup its membership drive across the State and complete it as soon as possible. AAP got a very good response in its conference on December 27, where it registered more than 1,200 members in a day and could reach the total numbers of more than 2000 at Sirsa alone. AAP leaders have now decided to cover Yamunanagar, Ambala and Karnal and Sonepat districts in coming fortnight.
“After getting good response from people of all age groups, we have decided to organise similar sammelan at Yamunanagar and Ambala districts and at Karnal. We will continue our membership,” said Rajeev Godara, chief spokesperson of AAP, Haryana unit. AAP had already covered membership drives at Gurgaon, Mewat and Rewari on December 15. AAP is determined to contest all the 10 parliamentary seats in the State. Before launching its campaign, the party wants to complete its membership drive in all the 21 districts of the State.
“Then we will start our person to person contact program in which we will elaborate our party’s point of view to the public,” added Godara. On the issues for parliamentary elections, Godara added that in Haryana Robert Vadra-DlF land deal, land acquisition, wrong recruitment policy, illegal land Use changes, faulty education system will remain on priority list.
