In Haryana, Aadhaar numbers of about one crore voters out of total 1.66 crore voters have been linked with voters’ list through Statewide special campaigns across the State.
Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Shrikant Walgad said the campaign was organised earlier on three days in the state i.e on April 12, May 3 and May 17. In this series, another such campaign will be organised on all polling stations on July 12.
He said that all voters could visit their concerned booth on this day to get their Aadhaar number linked with voters’ list through Booth level Officers (BlOs). He has urged the voters to give their Aadhaar numbers to BlOs whenever they visit their households during survey.
