A Venu Prasad, IAS Principal Secretary, Power Punjab has taken the charge as Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Punjab State Power Corporation limited.
Venu Prasad is an IAS officer of the 1991 batch. He did MBA (Finance) and MA in Public Policy from USA. He has served in different significant departments of Punjab. He served as Deputy Commissioner Faridkot, Jalandhar and Commissioner Excise and Taxation.
He has also served as Secretary Housing and Urban Development. He is also holding the charge as CMD PSTCl.
