Around 93,000 students in 990 Government senior secondary schools of Haryana have been imparted vocational training during the current fiscal year. “Under a Centre’s scheme for vocalisation of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, 14 different skills were imparted in schools of Haryana in fiscal 2016-17,” said Education Minister Ram Bilas Sharma on Wednesday. He said that it is being planned to cover more Government senior secondary schools from the ensuing academic session commencing in April 2017. Haryana School Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad has directed school principals to submit online data for this purpose by December 26, 2016, he said.
