The cyber crime investigation cell of the Chandigarh Police has arrested four persons found involved in the fraud of recruitment of Junior lab technicians (X-ray) conducted by PGIMER, Chandigarh.
The arrested accused identified as Mohit 23, Harpreet Singh 38, Ashok Kumar 59 all residents of Chandigarh and 46 years old Khyali Ram Meena resident of Gurgaon.
Police said Mohit and Harpreet used to call the candidates who appeared for the interview for the recruitment and promise them for their selection after depositing a certain negotiable amount.
However, Khyali Ram Meena and Ashok Kumar used to procure the list of candidates for interview to the Mohit and Harpreet, from the website of PGIMER by downloading the concerned notification from archives. They used to use the application no. as login ID and date of birth as password of the candidates’ login portal, get the certain details for negotiation.
