A 30-year-old youth was murdered by unidentified miscreants here on Monday night. The killers dumped his body at a vacate plot in Baba Mastnath Nagar near Tilyar Tourist Complex after perpetrating the crime.
The deceased has been identified as Pradeep Kumar of Baliyana village and was architect by profession. The police have started investigation after registering a murder case against unidentified killers in this regard.
The incident came to light on Tuesday morning when some passerby on walk spotted the body lying in the plot. They immediately informed the police control room about the crime. The Urban Estate Police rushed to the spot and sent the body to PGIMS for postmortem examination after taking stock of the situation. The body bore multiple injury marks made by some sharp-edged weapon.
The body was later identified by his family members who informed that Pradeep had been running his office in partnership with one of his friends on the Hisar road in Rohtak city.
Pradeep had made a call at his home in the village last evening and stated that he would not come to home this night following some urgent work. Sanjay, brother of Pradeep, informed mediapersons that Pradeep used to come to the office on his motorbike which was also missing since after the incident.
