It is also the fourth pillar of a modern economy in a sense that the value we calculate has a bearing on the final buying or lending decision,” said Kapil Arora, general secretary, Valuers Association (regd). This organisation represents Chandigarh Valuers Association, Haryana Valuers Association, Punjab Valuers Association. Angry at what he says is the ‘government’s permission’ to non-technical people entering the profession, he claims that the government has asked them  (professionals with experience between 10 and 40 years) to either do the course that they have mandated or face cancellation of registration.
