Police carry out search operation
Chandigarh: Haryana Police on Sunday carried out a comprehensive combing and search operation in village Ali Meo in district Mewat and rounded up 17 suspected persons involved in theft of vehicles. The police has recovered 42 vehicles, most of which are suspected to be stolen ones. A spokesman of police department said that around 550 police personnel from six districts, including Palwal, Rewari, Mahendergadh, Mewat, Faridabad and Gurgaon, were deployed for this search operation which continued for four hours from 4 am to 8am. He said that some of the very notorious criminals who had been wanted for long by the police have been rounded up during the operation. The suspected persons and vehicles are being verified, he added.
e-mode only for GPF statements in Haryana
Chandigarh: The office of Haryana Accountant General (A&E) has decided to issue the annual General Provident Fund (GPF) statements for the year 2014-15 only through e-mode on website www.aghry.nic.in. Accountant General Karan Singh said that Haryana Government employees have been advised to download their respective statements in the last week of June 2015 by using their respective Personal Identification Number (PIN). Those who do not have their PIN could obtain the same by clicking on Employee Information and then on Forget Password tabs on the website. In case of any error in the lists, the complete information could be provided in AG office through Drawing and Disbursing Officer.
Ambuja Cement organises workshop series
Shimla: In order to empower mason for bringing the updation in construction techniques, Ambuja Cement will organise a series of workshop across the State. Under mason awareness campaign, the van equipped with latest innovation of construction and experts has covered the masons of Bilaspur, Sirmaour and Solan. According to Virender Sharma, zonal head, Ambuja Cement said that the campaign will help the mason not only know the latest technique but also will help in cost effectiveness. He assured such awareness campaign would be a regular feature of the endeavour put up by the company.
