Strategic tie-up between Spain and Punjab
Chandigarh: Spanish Ambassador Gustavo De Aristegui has offered to forge collaboration with Punjab government in the fields of water treatment, agro and food processing, biowaste management and renewable energy. The envoy called on Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal offering to seek partnership with the State Government on key areas of strategic development through sharing latest technological advancements and expertise especially in the areas of water treatment and renewable energy.
Met forecasts cloudy weather in PB, Haryana
Chandigarh: The local MeT Department has forecast cloudy conditions with the possibility of light rain in the next 24 hours at several places in Punjab and Haryana. A MeT official said, “The days would be mainly partly cloudy during next 24 hours while light rain is expected in some parts of Punjab and Haryana. Their joint capital, Chandigarh is likely to witness partly cloudy conditions.”
