It’s not time to thoko tali, Sidhu

Navjot Singh Sidhu has started to sound like a bowler who cannot take wickets and gives away runs, but blames the fielders for poor fielding. Well, he does not believe in giving up. Be it cricket, politics, or entertainment industry, he tries to hit back at his adversaries. Whether his “attacking” approach is justified or not is another thing. He did try the tactic during his short tour to Amritsar. Playing a not-so-friendly match with his own team, he tried to score over them by blaming the State Government for bowling him out by hurling the funds away from his political home ground. like a seasoned cricketer, he refrained from attacking the captain — Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal in this case. He minced no words to say senior Badal was “like my father”. But, at the same time, he blamed the team SAD-BJP for the lack of cooperation. Well, Mr Sidhu, people know the games cricketers and politicians play. As of now, you can just wait and watch whether you have a last laugh or the “third empire”, read public, declares you clean bold. Guru “ab mat hona shuru”. It’s not time for you to “thoko tali”

Nothing right in Elections for rights

Youth is the future of a country and education of the youth would pave a new path for the countries progress. But the recent Panjab University elections proved that after all what is done by the elders is replicated by the youth. There was massive scale election conduct violation. The interesting thing happened when a student wing party supporter met a reporter. Confusing him to be a student the exalted supporter said that if you make us win today my party will bathe you in beer. So now that is how elections were being conducted and authorities must have been blind to not see the violations. It’s true that India is shining, what if the glitter is that of beer.

Doc is busy chatting, kindly await your turn

Recently the emergency ward of the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research had a bill board displaying that the emergency is full and the patient and the attendants should wait patiently for their turn to come. However it said nothing about how many doctors were deployed on duty or served any detail about how much time it would take for someone’s turn to come which in a way defeats the purpose of the emergency. So when a wary wanderer went in to see if doctors were busy what he found was quote unusual. Few doctors were busy chatting, not that it was a crime, but yes all this while emergency bill board said all the doctors were busy kindly be patient. There doctors were quite busy chatting.

 University V-C adopts PM’s strategy

In the recent student election of Panjab University, the supporters of a party demanded re-counting and alleged that winning party used unfair means to win election. The students staged protest in front of Vice-Chancellor office demanding that he should come out from his office and address the demands of the student. Finally, notorious and hilarious slogans were heard at the V-C office in such a manner that V-C, would had found only solution to silent the crowd by stepping out and face the crowd which was closed to turn mob. Mouths were opened with large number of complaints when V-C managed to reach the crowd… One of the representatives from the crowd bombarded V-C with complaints and after listening the person for 30 minutes, V-C nod his head and left the crowd without saying a single word. After that, the crowd shouted, “Another PM!”
